Hello Carats! Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great week and I'm sure we're all looking forward to the Lollapalooza performance (and for some lucky ones, I know it's looking forward to seeing it in person 🥳).
This week's pairing is our dearests:
Jun and Minghao

I thought we could have a Jun pairing today and thought his most popular pairing would be appropriate 🥰, so Junhao it is!

**Minghao about Jun :**
“Jun-hyung is a friend who I can rely on and we can understand each other. Hyung usually helps me a lot. Jun-hyung is someone that ‘if i’m in Korea and he’s not beside me, it’s not gonna work’ it’s just… I can’t without hyung.”
“Jun and I don’t match personality-wise.I’m a sensitive type, but Jun has a carefree personality.Despite that, I feel comfortable when we’re together.Jun was the only one by my side when I didn’t speak a word of Korean.”
“Jun hyung is also always a resting place for me, a dependable person. He notices whenever I’m having a hard time and talks to me.”
“We’re both part of the China line but we’re polar opposites. **Jun:** The8 is a friend with whom I can talk about anything. I am always grateful to The8, not just this year. We can converse in Chinese and understand each other deeply.
**The8:** I am confident that I understand him better than anyone else.
**Jun:** Whether work related or personal, he’s always a big help to me when I’m in trouble. Let continue to be good friends! The8: Of course (laughs).
**The8:** I can feel that Jun-hyung and I are deeply connected, as if we’re real brothers. We like many of the same things, so being together is easy.
**Jun:**It’s so true (smile).
**The8:** If we’re talking about hobbies, we enjoy different things but he listens to my stories with interest. I act like a child because of that kindness.
**Jun:**The8 knows a lot of things I don’t, so it’s fun to have a conversation.
**Jun about Minghao:**
Q: Please tell us what about The8 makes you think “That’s so great”:
Jun: “The fact that he chases after the things he wants to do, his dreams, with all his might. It’s easy to just talk about stuff like that, but to continue developing yourself for your dreams and for such a long time like The8 has is an amazing feat, I think. The fact that he continues learning is also great. Lately he’s also been taking various lessons, finding images online for research, etc. Of course, other members also do those, but The8 stands out. He takes a lot of lessons and reads a lot of books as he grows.”
“The8 is a perfectionist, and his hobbies like reading, painting, photography, and even fashion, once he has an interest in something, he’s the type to pull through with it without dropping it. On the other hand, I’m the type of person who finds it difficult to continue to read a book until the very end. The both of us are polar opposites but he’s the one thata understands me the best. That’s why whenever I have worries the first person I go to is The8.”

In Youth Periplous season 4, in the part for the episode that came out recently, they were giving gifts to each other, Minghao got a gift for one of the members of the variety show and Jun already guessed it must be green tea and Minghao smiled at him because he was right. Link:

There was another episode where Minghao had to call someone and then disconnect when the other person received the call, and wait for the call back, he called Jun as his first choice, and Jun picked up :))

Minghao: “Jun and I fought every day for almost a year”
Wonwoo: “because they can communicate”
Woozi:”they only had each other to fight and reconcile”
Jun:”we fought in the morning and reconciled at night”
Minghao:”we reconciled two hours after the fight, had a meal, fought again then reconciled at night” 🤣
I will focus on Going Seventeen for relationship of this duo
1. In Seventeen got talent, the 8 did a pretty good job at imitating Jun: from sleeping, to legendary Budam, to eating lemons and chilli peppers.
2. In Don’t lie 2 The 8 trusted Jun so much that he wasn’t Mafia and was protective about him even though team was suspicious.
3. In One million won the 8 also was protective and stared how Jun could never switch sides.
