When Somi released Birthday in 2019 it came with a wonderful song called Outta My Head which easily remains her best song in my opinion. I wish she’d followed a career paths which allowed for more songs like OMH and less like Ice Cream, or just more songs full stop. It feels like such a wasted opportunity.

Somi actually has the whole package (talented, is fluent in English, is known in Korea but also has the Western visual and personality that i-fans should love, charismatic) but her poor musical direction is holding her back.
