    >It was belatedly revealed that Nayeon, a member of the domestic girl group Twice, donated an additional 30 million won in patient treatment costs to Donggang Hospital (Director Kim Kang-seong) of Donggang Medical Foundation (Chairman Park Won-hee) last year, following 2022.

    >Donggang Hospital announced on the 30th that Nayeon donated a total of 50 million won in two installments to be used for patient treatment.

    >According to the hospital on the 30th, Nayeon anonymously donated 20 million won in 2022 to sympathize with the pain of local patients who are suffering from a poor medical environment compared to the metropolitan area.

    >It was reported that Nayeon donated an additional 30 million won last year after hearing that all of the donations had been used up.

    >This was supported through Ulsan Love Fruit (Chairman Jeon Yeong-do) as surgical expenses for medically vulnerable groups using Donggang Hospital.

    >The subjects of support are 17 patients suffering from cardiovascular disease, acute renal failure, aortic dissection, atherosclerosis of the extremities, end-stage renal dialysis, spinal stenosis, femoral intertrochanteric fracture, osteonecrosis, etc.

    >Donggang Hospital plans to support them and provide direct medical expense benefits to medically vulnerable patients this year as well with the remaining donations.

    >Mr. A (69), who underwent surgery at Donggang Hospital for acute cerebral hemorrhage, said, “I was deeply moved by Nayeon’s warm heart and actions when I heard that she supported the medical expenses. I would like to express my gratitude.”

    >Another Donggang Hospital official said, “Citizens who are struggling to make ends meet as low-income earners have a hard time when they suddenly get sick and have to pay for hospital treatment, and we hope that Nayeon’s positive influence and warm heart will be passed on to these patients and become a great source of strength.”
