Can anyone confirm if it’s 7 songs total (3 of them being solos) or it’s 7 songs PLUS 3 solos (10 songs total)? My interpretation is the former. Because I don’t think they would advertise 10 songs as a mini-album.

I think when they started Misamo, they already chose and recorded all songs, but decided to release them over two albums.
Which is very smart ofc business wise.

So awesome. Masterpiece had a sultry soulful quality which distinguished it from Twice’s usual fair (generally speaking of course given how diverse Twice’s catalog is). It’s hard to put my finger on it but Masterpiece felt more adult and sexy than a lot of what I’ve heard from Twice. In many respects Dive is closer to MiSaMo’s sound which makes sense given it came out a year after the massive success of Masterpiece. I like Twice’s cuter concepts too but Masterpiece did a good job establishing MiSaMo’s own unique sound and feel.
Edit: Certain parts of Masterpiece almost come closer to something like Amy Winehouse or Sade as opposed to more traditional pop music.
