May/may not grow on me, but have to be honest, this is the first aespa title track I’ve not immediately enjoyed. Production is fine, but I’m just not feeling it after the first few listens.

I’ve been obsessed with the HOT MESS (Short Ver) on Tiktok, and damn, the full song is even better. It’s probably my favourite Japanese single ever, surpassing Twice. They are my top two groups, and seeing them delivering Japanese releases this good makes me levitate. S&M is aespa at their best, vocals and harmonies eat, and the production is smooth, summery, and r&b infused as well. I love these songs. They’re gonna be on repeat. Zoom Zoom is so fun as well, but I’ve heard it before. Now I want a full Japanese album 🤯

I find myself not enjoying Hot Mess as much as the other tracks. I think it’s a good attempt but feels like it needed more work as a final product. Those other two songs (I think ones a ost)? They’re so good.
