  1. not only did the mv have a lot of good sets but its also a bright and colourful song so im surprised they went with a black background for the performance video..

After the MV was released they still posted concept photos and clips of the summery casual outfits and the red and black outfits. I thought there has got to be more footage with those looks. Maybe there’s a performance version with the MV looks, maybe there’s a b-side MV, **maybe** there’s a re-package. And we got this surprise. This is cute, but cute next to gorgeous (Feel My Rhythm performance video) gorgeous is gonna devour cute.

First of all I love the amount of content we’re getting for this comeback, we are really been blessed for once in our luvies life.

Loving everything about this performance video from the camera work, to the lighting, to the styling. The Cosmic concept here is developed more like I thought it was going to be before the video release: less midsommar and more dark/silver/mysterious space intergalactic princesses visually oriented so I’m very happy they’re also playing with it rather than indulge in a redundant hippie/summery/flowery concept(which I also love). So kudos for conceptualizing it, for surprising us

What in the nugu hell is this? I am trying to be positive that we got a performance video at all—especially with the days of teasers that ended up having absolutely nothing to do with this, but sm releasing probably the lowest effort performance mv possible is something else really. Compared to the amazing custom built sets for the performance videos for Feel My Rhythm and Birthday its hard not to feel underwhelmed. They literally had the most gorgeous outfits and sets for the Cosmic mv and we get an empty stage with wavy fabric in the back and some questionable lighting and camerwork at times. If it wasn’t for Seulgi and Yeri’s hair i would think this was filmed before they even had the concept decided because its so generic and unconnected with anything else they’ve released for this era.

I love the outfits!!! I don’t really like the background. I am grateful for a performance MV though ♥

The outfits are so beautiful! 😍 love the camera work and setting to highlight the choreo and the girls’ moves. Good coordination as well.

Wabs are back after popular demand 💙 and I really love that eye makeup on Irene!

  7. I was hoping they did the perfomance video w the midsommar outfits in the field 😭😭😭😭

Honestly, the minimalist set and styling choice actually worked in their favor. The single set and outfit choice really made me focus on their dancing and performance which for me blew me away.

They showed off their synced dance ability, gave great facial expressions, alluring stage presence and showed once again how well they can understand and execute a concept.

Cosmic is really hitting for me! ❤️✨

I know it’s a performance vid, but SM could have upped the budget for this a bit… anyways, the gals look amazing as always, and Happy Anniversary to Wendy’s abs

I guess sm only gave them enough money for the mv because this is embarrassingly bad from a big 4 company.

I keep trying to think of something positive to say except that the girls are pretty and danced well, but this is certainly a choice from sm. It feels really disconnected from the rest of Cosmic era which already had pretty disconnected teasers. It doesn’t really give “space” either if that is the vibes they’re trying to go for and it isnt really the best shot and edited tbh. I had hoped with how gorgeous the mv was and all the teaser clips this week that we were going to get something either outdoors with all those extras sm took the pains to hire and teach the choreo or in one of the gorgeous sets or something related. I’ll be glad we got a PV at all but i rather watch the one of the live stages to be perfectly honest.
